Nonument is an ongoing research and artistic project, dedicated to archiving, mapping and studying the architectural heritage, monuments and public spaces of the 20th century. We’ve built Nonument.org as a digital archive of the project and all of its activities: an online database of Nonuments, a collection of theoretical texts (including video lectures) from our international symposiums and case studies (coming in March 2019), and a special section dedicated to the Nonument Group, an international artistic collective that operates in the ambit of the project. Our growing archive is not limited to the research we conduct. We would like to invite you to contribute to the Nonument Database with tips and submissions. If you would like to support Nonument.org in other ways, donate to the project to ensure its continuity.
Nonument.org is is part of the MAPS co-operation project. Six organisations have contributed to this database: CCEA (Prague), WH Media / Beamy Space (Vienna), Tačka Komunikacije (Belgrade), House of Humor and Satire (Gabrovo), ARTos Foundation (Nicosia) and MoTA – Museum of Transitory Art (Ljubljana). The project is co-financed by Creative Europe.
